Sponsorship

Chair: Tanya Jones
The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for ongoing coordination and implementation of CREW Upstate’s sponsorship funding for the year from the local business community. We are proud of the companies who support our organization and we take seriously our commitment to support and promote them at every opportunity available throughout the year. In addition to obtaining chapter sponsors, this committee is responsible for ensuring that our sponsors are receiving all the benefits associated with their sponsorship. Communications

Chair: Callie Michalak
The Communications Committee is responsible for keeping CREW Upstate members and non-members fully informed about our organization. This committee manages and updates our website and social media platforms and administers CREW Upstate’s public relations efforts by advertising, writing press releases, and maintaining strong bonds with the local media. This committee maintains the integrity of the CREW Upstate brand through the proper portrayal of our message in all avenues of communication. If you have a passion for the art of communication via verbiage, design, or creative interpretation, this committee is for you.

Membership

Chair: Jenna Bates
The Membership Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that CREW Upstate maintains its status as the most influential commercial real estate networking organization in the upstate of South Carolina. It does this by promoting members’ satisfaction and by recruiting high-profile commercial real estate professionals. If you like meeting new people and would like the opportunity to be the first to network with new and prospective members, this is the committee for you.

Professional Development

Chair: Jeannine Hill
The Professional Development Committee is responsible for developing and promoting CREW members through leadership development events, award recognition, and facilitating deal making among our multi-disciplinary membership. CREW Chats are organized to directly impact career development though addressing needs that have been specifically requested by CREW Upstate members. If you want to aid members in advancing their careers in the commercial real estate industry, join our team!

Programs

Co-Chairs: Gwen Sollenberger & Laurie Gregory
The Programs Committee develops and delivers monthly programs on educational and timely topics that focus on commercial real estate issues and trends. As a member of Programs, you will participate in a fun, creative committee to generate ideas for cutting-edge programs that will help make CREW Upstate the organization of choice. Members of this committee will have the opportunity to interact with executives in the real estate industry about speaking opportunities. You will also benefit from working with other committee chairs and board members as you develop the programs’ agenda.

Special Events

Chair: Brantley Anderson
As a member of Special Events, you will assist in organizing a variety of special events which will provide opportunities for members to network with each other in both an informal, fun setting; and more formal, community-wide events. If you like planning and executing high-quality events, this committee is for you.

Career Outreach

Chair: Britney Barnes
This committee focuses on student outreach and mentorship to promote a career in commercial real estate. The CRE industry is primarily men, yet women are also a huge asset in every aspect of the transaction. If you have passion for moving our industry forward by recruiting women to pursue a commercial real estate career, join this committee!
